The species of the genus Meloidogyne are globally distributed and generally induce formation galls or nodules in roots a wide variety plants, due to this; this nematode is known as "Root knot nematode". affected plants show loss turgidity leaves, chlorosis withering, which leads reduction crop yields. In Ecuador, presence several root has been registered, wild cultivated plants.
